2013 saw the first ever Feminist Porn Conference held in Toronto. It was an event paired with the annual Feminist Porn Awards screening and award night. Porn filmmakers, performers and fans mixed with academics to discuss the growth of feminist porn and topics including consent, sex work, diversity, fair trade, ethical production, authenticity, sexuality, porn history and more.
